Meowdoku Fun

Meowdoku is what happens when a classic logic puzzle decides to put on a cat costume and absolutely refuses to take it off. Instead of dealing with cold numbers, you place adorable cats on a colorful grid where each kitty is a little picky, a little dramatic, and extremely serious about its personal space. It’s simple to start, but once you get a few levels in, you’ll catch yourself saying “just one more puzzle” way too many times.

At its heart, Meowdoku is a deduction game. You don’t guess - you observe, eliminate, and slowly let the board reveal its secrets. And yes, the cats will silently judge your wrong moves.

How to Play

The goal is to place all the cats correctly on the board while following a few strict (and slightly funny) rules.

Each puzzle is split into colored zones, and every zone wants exactly one cat. Sounds easy… until you realize the rest of the board is also full of restrictions.

Controls

On the computer: Left-click to place a cat on a tile. Use right-click to mark a tile with an X when you know a cat can’t go there.
On mobile/tablet: Tap once to place a cat. Tap or switch to X mode to mark wrong spots.
Use X marks often—they’re basically your “I’ve thought this through” stickers.

Rules You Need to Follow

Each colored region can hold only one cat.
Every row can have only one cat.
Every column can have only one cat.
Cats refuse to sit next to each other - even diagonally. They’re not antisocial, just… independent.
Every move should come from logic. Guessing is allowed only if you enjoy emotional damage (and losing hearts).

A Few Helpful Tips

Start with the tiniest color zones first. They’re like the “starter pack” of the puzzle world and usually give away your first placements. Once you place a cat, immediately block its row, column, and nearby diagonal tiles. It feels a bit like tidying up after a very chaotic pet.

Another good trick is to look for overlap between zones. Sometimes a single decision quietly triggers a chain of others, and before you know it, half the board seems to solve itself - as if it had been waiting for you to notice all along.
